The Girls

Jenny Coles. aka WONDER WOMAN The Captain. TG2010 N1

Jenny ~ ‘The concept was my idea, I wanted to raise a lot of money for people who need others help in very dark times.
I could do it alone, but I will do it better with a little help from my friends!

I needed nine girls who I could rely on, were kind hearted, generous, determined and maybe just a little bit mad to take on the challenge!

I only had to look to my friends to find the right characters for the job!’

Jaime Hawkins. aka Jamos’ Here! The New Zealander! TG2010 N2

Jaime ~ ‘You can’t say no to Jenny Coles, that’s why I find myself travelling 12,000 to take part in TG2010 this summer!’

I am keen to help people with this tragic disease along with all the people closet to them.’

Alexandra Goddard. Aka Wendy Alice. The LEGEND! TG2010 N4.

Alex ~ Wendy Alice! ‘I am doing the Tractor Girls 2010 Road Run for my Grandmother, who had breast cancer, whereby she had to have a mastectomy on her right breast. She was such a strong woman, through this event and connected fundraisers I want to show my support for other brave woman fighting this awful disease.’

DOING IT FOR SCOTLAND!!

Eilidh Grieve. Aka The Bairn! The Wee One!
TG2010 N7

Eilidh ~ ‘Being a TG2010 is a real privilege as it gives us all the opportunity to raise awareness of the charities and integrate aspects of our rural heritage. I am the 5th generation of the Grieve family to be driving a Fordson/ Ford Tractor.’

Laura Mathers. Aka ‘Minnie the Minx’The Tough One! TG2010 N8

Laura ~ ‘As a child, my Dad would drag our family round vintage tractor rallies every other weekend, boring us to tears, trying to interest us in these ‘old gems’. Well as the saying goes; ‘If you can’t beat the, join them,’ well in this instance, it’s more a case of; ‘if you can’t join them, beat them!’ To me, being a Tractor Girl is joining Jenny and the other girls in proving our ability and dedication- it’s about time us girls really showed the boys how it’s done!!’

FOR IRELAND!!

Louise Moore Aka Lou Lou The Explorer TG2010 N9.

Louise ~ ‘I am doing this because I was told if I didn’t Santy (Father Christmas) would not come, only joking, the real reason is to make people aware of The Irish Motor Neurones Disease Research Foundation and raise as much money as we can to help this charity further. I am giving this event all that I can, I hope you will to! Hope to see you along the way!’ ‘Slan Go Foill!’

Carol Moore Aka Catwoman Another Superhero! TG2010 N10.

Carol ~ ‘Being a TG2010 means being apart of a very special group of friends, going out of their way to raise awareness for the four chosen charities. The charity close to my heart is The Irish Motor Neurones Disease Research Foundation based in Dublin Ireland. We lost a family friend to this awful disease and if by taking part we in some way help, well I am in!’
