
Massey Ferguson 35 ~ Supplied new by G Coles from Blashford Motors in 1962 to Mr Phillips of Whitchampton. Bought by R Coles when he started his business in 1976 and sold to Mrs Brice. When she retired R. Coles bought the tractor back in the 80’s and gave the tractor to his daughter J.Coles seven years ago. The tractor has now been fully restored. The tractor will be driven by J.Coles.
Massey Ferguson 35 ~ Found totally derelict in a hedge row at Ashmore near Shaftesbury Dorset. The tractor was purchased by D.Coles and was completely rebuilt. David Coles has kindly agreed to loan the tractor to Tractor Girls 2010. The tractor will be driven by Jaime Hawkins of New Zealand for the John O Groats to Lands End and then by Claire Moore of Killucan, Southern Ireland for the Irish leg of the tour.

Massey Ferguson 35 ~ Purchased by Mr Harris at Silton new from John Wallace Titt of Warminster. It was purchased three years ago for restoration. Present owner T. Mayhew of Southampton. Tom Mayhew has kindly allowed his sister Hannah Mayhew to use the tractor for the entirety of the Tractor Girls 2010 run, the tractor is currently apart and undergoing a complete rebuild.

Massey Ferguson 35X ~ Supplied new by Sparrows of Martock in 1964 to Mr A. James of Motcombe, Shaftesbury Dorset. The tractor stayed and worked on the farm from new and was purchased and driven home by J.Coles on the 5th February 2010. This tractor will be fully restored and loaned to Alexandra (aka Wendy Alice) Goddard for the Tractor Girls 2010 road run.

Massey Ferguson 35 X~ Supplied new to Norman Brain of Lynley Farm by G.Coles.
R.Coles bought the tractor from Norman Brain in a retirement sale, it has worked on Robert Coles’ farm ever since for nearly thirty years. It is a very reliable tractor and is long overdue a complete over hall. The tractor will be loaned to Sophie Jeans of Blandford for the entirety of the Tractor Girls 2010 run.

John Deere 2120 ~ New in 1968.
Purchased by Mark Farwell of Blandford in 2003.
Restoration was carried out by Mark’s son Matt in the same year. This tractor is being driven by Mark’s daughter Catherine Farwell.

Massey Ferguson 35 ~ New in 1960. This tractor is owned by Kevin Moore Tractors of Killucan, Westmeath, Southern Ireland. All four of Kevin and Noeleen’s daughters are taking part in Tractor Girls 2010. Shown in the photo above are Claire and Louise Moore. Louise will be driving Kevin’s MF35 for the entire tour. Claire will be driving for Jaime Hawkins on a MF35 loaned from David Coles, for the Irish leg of the run.


Massey Ferguson 135 ~ New in 1977. This tractor is owned by Kevin Moore Tractors of Killucan, Westmeath, Southern Ireland. This tractor is being driven Carol Moore.
The photo to the left illustrates what the finished tractor will look like. The photo on the right shows its current state.

The tractor was supplied by Mungalls of Blairgowrie in 1963. It was bought by a tenant farmer on Atholl Estates and when the farmer retired in 1970, the estate bought the tractor. It served as the stock tractor on Home Farm, alongside the famous Blair Castle for many years before being purchased by a gamekeeper and used on the estate for hill duties until 1999. It was then purchased by W. Grieve in a state of decay and restored to its former glory with a complete overhaul and re-spray.
The tractor was given to Eilidh for her 21st birthday by her father.

Fordson Dexta ~ Circa 1960. Bought by the present owner G. Riddell of Aberdeenshire at an auction near Glasgow in September 1994. The tractor has been stationary since then on G. Riddell’s farm, but is now under full restoration ready for Tractor Girls 2010. Gordon’s daughter Laura Mathers (nee Riddell) will be driving the tractor.
